On a road trip to Atlanta for Pat's big show, the family gets derailed, landing them in a resort where they find that trying to be woke means it's time to wake up.

Ghosts of the past can affect the present, and that's what happens when an overbearing parent returns to curse Pat in an attempt to show they're not so different after all.
